Gallery

A gallery is a collection of images or multimedia content displayed in a visually appealing and organized manner. It serves as a way to showcase photographs, artwork, or other visual assets, allowing users to explore and interact with the content. Galleries often include features such as image thumbnails, navigation arrows, and a modal window or lightbox to help users browse through the content.

Keyboard Interactions

Users should be able to use the tab key to navigate through the gallery and each individual element (navigation arrows, thumbnails, etc.). There should also be a clear focus indicator so that users know which element they are interacting with. Users should be able to navigate through the gallery using the arrow keys.

Pressing Enter while focused on an element within the gallery should allow users to open a modal or lightbox and display the selected image.

If a modal or lightbox is open, pressing Esc should close it and return the user to the previously selected thumbnail.

Include navigation arrows and keyboard shortcuts (i.e. arrow keys), so that users can browse through the gallery.

Use clear thumbnail previews to allow users to quickly scan and select images.
